You know as a little kid we took everything personally, children believe that if they are being mistreated, it's because they haven't been “good enough.” Have you noticed being good as an adult also makes people believe incorrectly as well, like we have some sort of control in our life? Ha, what a laugh. A formula!
We somehow think that we will be rewarded for our goodness or a belief in God and that it will protect us from harm.
No...life still sucks even though you did everything right.
We have all had the moments when we think nobody sees us. When we feel like we have to act out or be somebody else to get noticed. But somebody notices, somebody sees, somebody out there probably thinks you're the greatest thing in the whole stinking world.
Don't ever think you're not good enough.
I was reading the other day in the Bible that God Himself thinks you are marvelous.
It’s a new day with no mistakes!
So should I continue to do good to the best of my ability even though the outcome
is that I am still knee deep in sheep dip?
You see the reward for all of our hard work isn’t what we receive, but it’s what we become by it.
“Duty is ours,
consequences are God’s”
